Fabulous first show!

The 2009 Bridal Forum was a raving success! We had a great interest in our custom designed invitations, programs and welcome baskets. Almost 300 brides chose to sign up for our $75.00 gift certificate toward a custom invitation design! It was a bit exhausting, but we were able to chat with hundreds of glowing brides-to-be and their families. We left feeling very inspired by all of their ideas and excitement. Below, check out some photos of our booth!



Our atrium table seemed to be a hit too! A fresh approach to traditional centerpieces! We were inspired by the bold combination of navy blue and fresh apple/grass green. We love the texture and variance in shade natural fruit provides. We chose limes as our fruit to incorporate into our centerpiece. Pairing the limes with smaller wheat grass-filled vases created a really striking design. Our table also showcased custom designed printed materials with each setting including a menu and place card. The table number and custom wine label carried the design through to create a look perfect for the modern bride!

2009 Bridal Forum - Come see us!

Down to Details will be exhibiting for the first time at the 2009 Bridal Forum, Central Iowa's Premier Bridal Event! It will be held at the Sheraton on 50th and University in West Des Moines from 10:30 - 3:30 on Sunday, January 11. Above is our ad featured in the 2009 issue of "Your Wedding Iowa".

Be sure to take a look at the tables that decorate the atrium area, just as you walk in the hotel's entrance. We were one of six selected to design a table - find ours and let us know what you think!

Fall/Winter Weddings

Okay, okay, so we can't move on from 2008 quite yet!
You have to take a look at some photos from a couple weddings we helped create late in the year!

Krystle and Chris Krusmark were married in Bloomington, Minnesota in October. Their reception was held at the ever-so-classy Minnesota Valley Country Club. The spot was perfect for their chocolate and baby blue color scheme with the outside terraces overlooking the golf course and wheat fields. Here are some of our favorite shots of the decor!

The room transformed into an exquisite romantic reception. Down to Details also created Julie and Brian's invitations, save the dates, programs and signage. Classy and chic!

A successful year!

In 2008, Nikki and I launched Down to Details, our website went live, our collaborative portfolio continued to be ever-growing and we successfully neglected to pay much needed attention our very lovely Down to Details blog! But, we have loads of creative ideas, tips and tricks to help you pull off your perfect event — whether a baby shower, cocktail party or your upcoming wedding!
